Daniel Neilson, our first athlete, definitely gave us some inspiration when it came to getting off road.
Dan is an age group athlete who does what he does because he loves it. He is mixing it up at the pointy end of the field with Xterra pros, yet doing it all off his own bat (including finding time to put together some great vid of his exploits!).
We thought to ourselves this is exactly the kind of athlete we want to support. Have included a very short bio for Dan at the bottom of the page however stay tuned for a full profile and some pics to come…
Dan joins a global FUSION Team of athletes including Camilla Pedersen, Martin Jensen and Tim Don.
We wish Dan all the best this coming weekend at the inaugural Xterra Asia Pacific Championships and then on to the World Championships in Maui on 26 October.

Sport - Off Road Triathlon / Xterra amateur athlete.
Day job - Surf Lifesaver on Sydney’s Southern Beaches.
Growing up - Australian & World Surf Lifesaving Medallist.
2013 - Australian ITU Cross Triathlon Champion.
2014 - Xterra Great Ocean Road, 6th overall and winner of 25-29 age group.
