Layering Approach
Layering is a tried-and-true way to maximise comfort outdoors in the colder months, whether that be for winter running or winter cycling clothing. The beauty of this simple concept is that it allows you to make quick adjustments based on your activity level and changes in the weather. Ideal for countries like Australia and New Zealand when conditions can vary significantly throughout the day e.g. cold early mornings, into warmer days.

Each layer has a function. The base and mid layers manage moisture and retain warmth, while the outer layer shields you from cold, wind and rain. Then simply add or subtract layers as needed.

Fusion’s specific approach is to keep each layer as light as possible (SLi range) and well fitted, meaning heavy and bulky silhouettes. This allowing you stay warm, dry and comfortable riding or running regardless of the external conditions. Be it a short run or a long ride. Also easily packable as you go. So you can dress warm when getting up early and heading out i.e. no need to suffer till you warm up…. then easily remove on the go, as you warm up. Equally don’t get caught by unexpected cold / rain and easily layer back up on the fly.
